BoConcept has a long history, dating back to 1952 in Denmark, designing and selling contemporary furniture and household goods. Now, with nearly 300 stores across six countries, BoConcept has developed into a premium retail lifestyle brand focusing on comprehensive in-home and retail interior design services.
The Challenge
Having mixed and matched legacy systems for over 10 years through multiple providers, BoConcept’s IT team was now finding that troubleshooting technical issues was taking longer and becoming more convoluted.
In addition, the team was struggling to source appropriate connectivity for some sites.
They needed to amalgamate all connectivity & communication services and source from one supplier to ensure better productivity, mobility and flexibility moving forwards.
The Solution
Gamma Horizon
The Horizon Unified Communication platform allows for greater levels of flexibility for staff, with a focus on remote and mobile workers. By adopting a hosted voice platform, BoConcept could reduce the complexity, the need for expensive on-site equipment, and streamline their connectivity and telephony infrastructure. This, in turn, would result in reduced telephony costs as well as operational costs, while simultaneously improving audio-quality and the experience of managing the network.
Fast delivery
BoConcept did not want the transition to affect the day-to-day running of the business and needed a quick resolution. Therefore, Gamma Horizon was chosen as the communication platform, because of its user-friendly design and ability to be rolled out rapidly, with BoConcept’s first sites deployed within one week of agreeing the contract.
Training
The choice of on-site or remote training, bespoke crib sheets and ongoing support were all chosen as part of the solution to ensure BoConcept’s team could hit the ground running with a new application that would be an integral part of their daily workflows.
We were pleasantly surprised by Croft’s consultative approach because we’re used to aggressive sales tactics… Their relaxed yet timely responses were a breath of fresh air. Croft first looked at our whole estate and worked with us to identify improvements to processes and also identify cost savings. The Results
BoConcept were so impressed with their on-site hosted telephony, that they decided soon after its initial deployment, to adopt the Horizon platform even further by rolling out Horizon Collaborate across the business too.
With Horizon Collaborate, team members can now route office numbers directly to mobile and computers, use the platform as a central file repository and collaborate seamlessly with colleagues in their preferred contact methods.
BoConcept’s truly global team can now enjoy true mobility, enabling staff to remain productive whether they are on the go, working from the office or from home and work with colleagues halfway across the world, just as if they were on the other side of the office.
