As a specialist recruitment company, Talent supplies thousands of tech and digital professionals to a diverse range of organisations throughout the world. The international nature of the company means that it is especially important for global communications to be fast and efficient.

The Challenge

The requirement was a simple one. Talent wanted to improve the level of support and get greater value for money on their service level agreement both for voice and data. This would involve:

  • Linking five UK sites as well as an HQ in Australia via site-to-site VPN
  • Offering voice capability to make internal calls between branches
  • Increasing flexibility with simple networking management
  • Reducing existing operational costs on old networking equipment

The Solution

Unify, a new VoIP-based phone system has cut down on international call costs for the company, enabling internal communication globally. We also implemented Cisco Meraki with secure VPN links to data centres in the UK and Australia.

A cloud-based networking solution with greater security, redundancy and visibility, Cisco Meraki allows us to see exactly what device is connected where, greatly improving our ability to provide customer support. Cisco Meraki wireless has also helped Talent’s increasingly active workforce by allowing them to access critical business applications throughout the office and its various meeting rooms.
