The Grassroots Initiative

Saving UK sports clubs across the country!

Secure a regular revenue stream for your local sports club, used to fund improved equipment and kits, repairs, new stands, clubhouse facilities and more.

Simply redirect your existing communications spend by switching to Croft's cutting-edge telecom services and on average, your business alone could contribute £900+ to your local sports club every year.

We're ready to reward your club with a grassroots gift that they'll never forget.

The Heart Tech Appeal

Croft team up with Heart Radio to help combat digital poverty and enable better access to an online education for children across Hertfordshire.

Already pledging to supply free mobile broadband to up to 100 families for the remainder of the school year, we’re asking businesses across the county to donate any working, surplus laptops, desktops or tablets for distribution across families in Hertfordshire who need it most.

The Herts County Show

Croft headline sponsor the 2020 Hertfordshire County Show.

With the global pandemic impacting on a number of events across the country, on the 23rd May 2020, the county show went virtual for the very first time with our support.

We are proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with one of the finest agricultural shows in the country.

Shop + Drop

The Government first announced back in early 2020 that those at high-risk from COVID-19 would have to self-isolate for at least 12 weeks.

Something needed to be done to provide those confined to their home with a one-stop-shop for all house-bound essentials. As a result, an amazing new Shop + Drop service was born.

Croft donated a phone system, allowing volunteers to ‘man the phones’ from the comfort of their own homes and connect effortlessly with those in need.

West Kingsdown Boxing Club

West Kingsdown Boxing Club are extremely grateful to the team at Croft for choosing to work with us.

It’s great to work with an organisation that has gone above and beyond to support us and fully understand the grassroots ethos.

Like many not-for-profit community sports clubs, we offer a positive diversion for young people from crime and antisocial behaviour.

With the support of Croft, we hope to purchase new equipment to encourage more people to join, stay active, and otherwise engage with a worthwhile activity, building respect for the community by providing a place for young people to go to keep fit and learn a new skill with the possibility of competing.

Sarah Moreland, Executive Director at The Hertfordshire Agricultural Society

The Hertfordshire County Show was threatened by an invisible risk – the COVID-19 pandemic, but with the support of Croft, Heart Radio and others, the Show was an enormous success

The Hertfordshire Agricultural Society would like to thank everyone who sponsored and supported this remarkable event that truly demonstrated the ability to turn potential disaster into opportunity and success.

Optimism, enterprise and entrepreneurialism are still alive and well in Hertfordshire and with such spirit and inventiveness and innovation it just proves that ‘Hertfordshirians’ can rise above every challenge.

Debbie Chadwick, Station Director at Heart Radio

These last twelve months have been difficult for everyone and for those already struggling, the latest restrictions have compounded that struggle.

Education is a key part of a child’s development, so to help build towards their future is a true privilege.

I am thankful to Croft Communications for their compassion and generosity in supporting the Tech Appeal.

Victoria Ward, Chief Executive at The Welsh Sports Association

I’m thrilled to welcome Croft as a partner of the WSA. As a sector, we’re still enduring very challenging and ever-changing days with Covid-19 and more recently Brexit, and we’re constantly striving to enhance resilience of our member organisations as well as their associated clubs.

Sport has been hit particularly hard over the last year, and the approach Croft has, to offer an income-generating solution, could be invaluable to helping community sport get back to full fitness.

I encourage all members and clubs to take a look at what they offer and to get in touch with any questions to see if money can be saved & generated for the future. By doing so, they’ll be able to clearly see the tangible benefits of that investment.
